An education chain, the Indira Group of Institutes, has launched a PG diploma programme in international business. Styled as 'Post graduate Diploma in Management-International Business the new management programme would be run by the Indira Group though its subsidiary, Indira Global Business School.
Indira Group director Chetan Wakalkar informed on Wednesday that the group has already obtained approval of the AICTE for the programme.
Dr Asha Naik, former CEO of Tata Technologies, who has been chosen by the group to head the course, said disclosed that members of international faculty will be participating in the programme. A two-week overseas visit is part of the two-year programme. He said students joining the programme can also benefit form the Group’s tie-up with the ‘global CEO club.’
Candidates applying for the post graduate diploma in management-International Business must have graduated from any statutory university in the country with minimum of 50% marks to meet the eligibility criteria for the course.
Finance and marketing are the two areas of specialization of the programme. Entrance test for the programme is scheduled to be held on July 25.
