Law to curb incidence of ragging in educational institutions is on the cards. This was hinted by President Pratibha Patil while reacting to the frequent incidents of ragging in the country. In one such incident a young life was lost.

The Supreme Court on Friday called for constitution of a committee of mental health specialists to look into the impact of ragging on young students who go through the trauma.
