Delhi University (DU) is likely to grow the number of seats available in B. Com Honours (Hons). The university could also shift the B.Com programme, earlier dubbed as B.Com (pass) to the School of Open Learning (SOL) and add the seats to it.
Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Deepak Pental said, "The final decision has to be taken yet and the proposal will be submitted before the Academic Council soon which will take a decision."
He further added, "The seats of the B.Com programme will be amended in B.Com (Hons) course and will help in more students pursuing the course, as it is the most sought after course in the DU."
The B.Com programme was launched 4-years ago first in terms of a modified version of the B.Com (Pass) course by the university. The course will be made available to the stud-ents who have scored more than 85pc marks.
