Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) has directed the National Council for Education Research and Training (NCERT) to bring about a particular curriculum to impart training to Afghan school teachers on student- friendly and modern techniques of education to reinforce the education system in Afghanistan.
A senior HRD Ministry official said, "Teachers coming from Afghanistan will be here for about two years and will be imparted with the modern and student-friendly methods of teaching."
Adding more to the point, the official was quoted as saying that after the training comes to an end, teachers will get diploma certificates. The training will be imparted to them at the Regional Institutes of Education under the NCERT.
The constant attack of Taliban, in recent years, has badly affected the Education system in Afghanistan. The majority of women have to bear a lot for being educated. They’re not just fighting for education; it has become too tough for them to survive. The barbarism is widely and badly rampant there.
The teachers are moving ahead in terms of a follow-up to the (MoU) Memorandum of Understanding in-ked between the two nations with regard to various areas, comprising education.
