Admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate courses at Lucknow University for the academic session 2017-18 will be held through entrance examination. And, the admission process for the same is likely to begin from March 20, 2017.
The online application for Masters in Business Administration (MBA) courses will begin from March 20, followed by Bachelors in Business Administration (BBA) on March 27, 2017 followed by BA, B.Com, and B.Sc. courses commencing on April 03, 2017 as per report. A meeting was held in Varsity on March 15th regarding the same but the official notifications are yet to be uploaded on the website of the University.
The UG entrance will consist of multiple choice questions, the entrance for PG courses will have short answer type questions too.
Moreover, from this year onwards the university has reduced the number of courses offered in BA reducing the number of subject combinations. This has been done keeping in mind the less scope of BA course with each passing day. In the admission committee meeting that was held next week decision to remove BA in Social Work, Police Science and Rural Development which offers 60 seats has already been given effect. On the other hand, the number of seats in BCom self-finance has been increased this year given the rising demand for the course.
