The course is open to all.

The number of seats in a batch is limited to 30 ONLY. Admissions will be done on first-come-first-served basis.

Classroom Sessions: 2:30 p.m. to 5:40 p.m.
Each Saturday will have two sessions of 90 minutes each from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 4:10 p.m. to 5:40 p.m.
Field Trip:
Students will be given an exposure to skywatch during the period of the course. Star watching sessions will also be conducted after the classes, subject to clear sky conditions.

2. Cosmology
Eligibility:
Open to graduates with Physics as one of their optional subjects.

Registration fee: Rs. 200/-
Course fee: Rs. 4300/-
Registration and Admission:
- Basic requirement for admission: Interest in the subject of Astronomy.
- No restrictions on the academic background or age.
- Interested students may register their names by paying the registration fee of Rs. 200/- and collect the application form from the Institute.
- The forms need to be duly filled and submitted at the Institute on or before the prescribed deadline.
- As the number of seats is limited to 30, admissions will be made on first-come-first-served basis.
- Certificates will be issued to the individual students at the end of the course.
