The Indian Institute of Astrophysics (IIA)-Bangalore has released an official notification inviting all the interested, eligible for admission to Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programme offered jointly with Pondicherry Central University and Integrated MTech- PhD offered jointly with University of Calcutta for the academic session 2017.
All the eligible candidates are requested to apply through prescribed format latest by October 28.

Educational qualification:
All the candidates interested in taking admission need to possess a degree in Master of Science (MSc) (Physics) / Integrated MSc (Physics) / Bachelor of Engineering (BE)/ BTech/ ME/ MTech with 55 per cent in aggregate from a recognised university/institute.

Selection procedure:
Selection of candidates will be based on the performance in their IIA Screening Test (IIAST)conducted by the institute.
Candidates short listed based on their performance in the IIAST will be called for personal interview round.
