The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has released an official notification inviting all the interested, eligible candidates for admission to Master of Technology (MTech), Master of Science (MS) by research and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes offered in various specialisations for the academic session January, 2017.
All the eligible candidates are requested to apply through prescribed format latest by November 7.
Eligibility criteria:
Educational qualification:
MTech programmes: All the candidates interested in applying need to possess a Bachelor's degree in engineering or science or a Master's degree in science with marks/CPI not below the specified minimum from a recognised university/institute.
PhD programmes: All the candidates interested in applying for this course need to possess a Master's degree in engineering with marks/CPI not below the specified minimum from a recognised university/institute.

Selection procedure:
MTech programmes: All the candidates will be selected on the basis of GATE score or/interview or/written test.
PhD programmes: The candidate must have a valid GATE score or must have qualified for in JRF/NET.
