The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore has released an admission notification inviting applications from interested, eligible candidates to apply for its Bachelor of Science (BSc) by research programme for the academic session 2017. The duration of the same will be four years.
Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification:
The candidates interested in applying for this programme must have completed their class 12 (or equivalent) examination in 2016 or expecting to complete in 2017
They must have studied physics, chemistry and mathematics as main subjects in their class 12 (or equivalent) examination along with other main or subsidiary subjects
They must have secured a first class or 60 per cent or equivalent grade (relaxed to pass class for SC/ST candidates) in the qualifying examination
Selection procedure
The candidates will be selected on the basis of the merit list of one of the following national examinations: KVPY-SA, KVPY-SB, KVPY-SX, KVPY, and IIT-JEE.
