Teachers threaten to go on strike in Karnataka

The evaluation of SSLC answer scripts face the threat this year too in Karnataka .

As soon as the Karnataka Secondary education evaluation board announced the time table for final exams, the teachers announced that they will boycott evaluation if government fail to fulfill their demands.

The Karnataka state Secondary Schools assistant masters association announced this on Monday. HK Manjunath President of the association said, ' we will start hunger strike from February 2 .'

Their major demand is for implementation of Kumarnayak committee report related to pay anomalies.
