Bahrain and Kerala hold hands togather

The Kingdom of Bahrain widens cooperation with Kerala in investments, Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has said.

Bahrain Prime Minister and the Deputy King and Crown Prince, Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khaifa, on Thursday conveyed to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

The Crown Prince told Mr. Vijayan that they have close relationship with Keralites and that the Kingdom was ready to cooperate with the State in all ways and in all sectors. Steps would be taken to widen the cooperation between Bahrain and Kerala in the fields of culture, education, Ayurveda, technology and health, an official communication said.

The rulers of the Kingdom also discussed with the Chief Minister issues of mutual interest. Mr. Vijayan invited the rulers of the Kingdom to visit Kerala.

The Chief Minister was on a three-day visit to Bahrain, at the invitation of the Crown Prince who is also the Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
