Punjab Agricultural University has released an admission notification inviting eligible, interested candidates to apply for its PhD programme for the commencing academic session 2016-17.

Educational qualification:
The candidates must hold an MSc degree in any discipline.
Selection process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the PhD entrance test. The candidates have to get a minimum of 20 per cent to be eligible for counselling/ interview.
How to apply:
Application fee:
Online mode: The candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 4400 inclusive of the cost of downloading the form or prospectus.
Offline mode: The candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 3150 for every entrance test. In addition, they have to pay (Rs 1750/ Rs 1880 by post) for the prospectus.
The candidates have to collect the prospectus and application form from 'The Additional Director of Communication, Centre for Communication and International Linkages, PAU, Ludhiana - 141 004.'

The candidates have to submit their applications within October 14 and on October 21 with late fee of Rs 1000.
