CBSE Class 11, Class 12 students to learn Ayurveda, Indian architecture as a subject

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) schools will now teach Ayurveda, Indian architecture and philosophy as a subject to the class 11 and class 12 students.

According to a report in HT, 'The subjects will be part of a new elective -- Knowledge, traditions and practices of India -- that will combine various disciplines such as mathematics, chemistry, fine arts, agriculture, trade and commerce, astronomy, surgery, environment, life sciences and will be offered in Hindi and English.'
