Guru Gobind Singh Inderprastha University (GGSIPU) will conduct Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test also knows IPU CET 2017. The common entrance test will be held for inviting candidates to undergraduate and graduate programme in various colleges affiliated with GGSIPU. IPU CET is conducted consecutively every year for admissions to courses in law, computer applications, engineering, medical, management. The candidates want to take the admission to professional courses offered by the Inderprastha University should apply through the official website. www.ipu.ac.in

The candidates who 12th pass or appearing in an upcoming intermediate examination, which will be conducted in March 2017 are eligible to apply for IPU Undergraduate and Postgraduate Admissions before March 28, 2017. The candidates who are interested in applying should read the complete eligibility criteria and selection process before applying online. The online prospectus is available now at the official website of GGSIPU.

Application for IPU CET 2017

The aspirants who fulfil the eligibility criteria should submit the IPU CET 2017 Application Form through the official website of the university.

Application form can be ONLY be submitted through ONLINE mode

The application fee is Rs.1000/-. Some processing charges and taxes are applicable.

Eligibility Criteria for IPU CET 2017

Candidates who are interested in applying should read the eligibility criteria provided below:

For UG courses, candidates have to pass their 10+2 equivalent examination from a recognized board.

For PG Courses, candidates have to complete their graduation degree.

Candidates who have a three year diploma & B.Sc graduation degree, they can apply for B.Tech Lateral entry course.

IPU CET Exam Pattern

Marking Scheme: The questions will be objective type and each question will carry four marks for each correct response.

Mode of Exam: The online exam will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper based mode).

The question paper will be asked in OMR pattern.

Candidates are required to use only black ball pen to mark answers.

Negative Marking: One mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Negative marking will be done for wrong answers and for more than one answer to each question.

No of Questions: The question paper will comprise in total 150 questions for all programmes (except B.Tech. Biotechnology). Total 200 questions will be asked for B.Tech (Biotechnology).

Duration: The duration of the exam will be two and a half hours (for B.Tech. Biotechnology, three hours exam duration).

Language: The language of question paper will be English Only.
