Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification:
The candidates interested in applying for this programme must be holding a Master's degree in any discipline of this university or any other university or such degree as may be considered equivalent for this purpose by thus university with at least 55 per cent (or equivalent grade).
Selection procedure:
The candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the entrance examination. The final selection will done based on the career (80 per cent) and viva-voce (20 per cent) which will be conducted by the respective nodal centres.
Those who have qualified in UGC/CSIR NET, GATE and such examination conducted by ICAR, ICMR and other national bodies are exempted from the test. However, they need to appear for the viva-voce.

Important dates:
The last date of online registration is December 10.
The last date for submission of hard copy of application is December 12.
Admit card will be available from December 22.
Entrance exam will be conducted on December 31.
Call letter for viva-voce will be available for downloading from January 9, 2017.
