MPSC State Service Mains 2016 Results Declared

The result of State Service Mains examination has been declared by the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) yesterday, with total 130 candidates qualifying for the same. All those candidates who had appeared for the exam can check their respective results at the official website www.mpsc.gov.in. The prelims were conducted in April 2016 followed by the mains in September 2016.

Bhushan Ahire from Nashik, has topped the exam and among girls, Poonam Patil has topped with a total score of 507 points.

As per Indian Express report, a recommendation of total of five candidates have been made by the MPSC for the post of sub-collector. Besides Ahire, Shrikant Gaikwad, Sanjay Kumar Davle, Bhasake Sandeep, Neelam Bafna have been selected for the post of sub-collector.

Steps to check the result

  • Log on to the official website www.mpsc.gov.in
  • Under 'competitive examination', click on the 'results' tab
  • Click on the link 'State Services Main Examination - 2016- Final Result'
  • A PDF file will open displaying the roll number, name, category, marks and recommendation remark of the candidate
  • Download the same and take a printout for future reference
