K L University (KLU), Guntur has released an admission notification inviting applications from interested, eligible candidates to apply for its full time and part time Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in sciences, management and humanities and full time and part time Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in engineering, sciences, management and humanities for the academic year 2017.
Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification:
Ph.D in Engineering: Candidates interested in applying for this programme must possess a minimum 60 per cent marks or 6.75 CGPA (55 per cent marks or 6.25 CGPA for SC/ST students) in Master's degree in engineering/technology or MTech by research or equivalent degree from any university recognised by UGC.
Ph.D in Sciences/Management/Humanities: Candidates interested in applying for this programme must possess a minimum of 55 per cent marks or 6.25 CGPA (50 per cent marks for SC/ST/ differently abled students) in Master's degree or its equivalent degree in the relevant area from any university recognised by UGC.
M.Phil in Sciences/Management/Humanities: Candidates interested in applying for this programme must possess a minimum 55 per cent of marks or equivalent CGPA( 50 per cent for SC/ST students/ differently abled) in arts, science, computer application and management of this university or any other qualification recognised as equivalent thereto in the field of study.
Selection procedure:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of an entrance test, interview and academic performance.
