EAMCET 2017 : Today  2.30 pm to 5.30 pm.

All arrangements have been made for the smooth conduct of the Telangana Engineering, Agriculture, Pharmacy and Veterinary Entrance Test (EAMCET)-2017 on today(May 12).

About 2,20,248 students, including 1,41,054 for engineering stream, will appear for the entrance test, which will be conducted in 400 centres across the state. About 10 centres in Tirupati, 29 in Vijayawada, and eight in Visakhapatnam are in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh. Hyderabad has been divided in six zones and has about 84 test centres.

For the first time, the test will not be held for medical courses, including MBBS, BDS and Ayush, as these were made part of the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET).

EAMCET 2017 will be held from 10 am to 1 pm for engineering. For the agriculture and medical streams, it will be held from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. Candidates have been advised to reach the examination centre before 8.30 am for the engineering test and 1 pm for the agriculture and medical exam.

“No candidates will be allowed for the test if he or she is late by even a minute,” JNTU-H Registrar and EAMCET Convener N Yadaiah said.

The authorities have issued several dos and don’ts for candidates writing Telangana EAMCET.

They should to carry printouts of their online registration form along with their hall ticket to gain an entry into the examination centre.

Visit washrooms before entering the exam halls as no one will be to leave the hall till the test concludes.

Candidates will not be allowed to carry calculators, mathematical/log tables, pagers, cell phones, watches, or any other electronic gadgets and loose papers in the examination hall.

They have to hand over the Optical Mark Recognition answer sheet and keep the carbon copy which will be given back after completion of the test. Biometric finger detail of the candidates will also be collected during the examination.
