Prime Minister Scholarship Scheme 2017-18

Description: Kendriya Sainik Board Secretariat, Ministry of Defence, Government of India is inviting applications under this scheme from the wards of ex-servicemen, ex-coast guards and their widows for study in technical and professional course. The opportunity accommodates 5500 candidates which is equally distributed between boys and girls.

Eligibility: Students who have cleared class 12, graduation or diploma with minimum 60% score and has taken admission in the current academic year are eligible to apply for the call. Applicants can be dependent wards, widows of ex-servicemen, ex-coast guard personnel who died in harness, disabled due to causes attributable to military service, coast guard service, irrespective, of the rank.

Prizes & Rewards: INR 2000 p.m. for boys and INR 2250 p.m. for girls will be given for a period of one to five years, depending on the course selected.
